Ervin Laszlo FROM MUSIC AND SCIENCE TO WORLDSHIFT 2012: A Visionary Diary of Our Times

I first began to read Dr. Laszlo during my first experience with cyber-conferencing in 1998-1999. Having retired to a somewhat remote ridge in the Sierra foothills, I was about to embark on a new kind of world exploration, to be sure. He has been a guiding light for me in that process ever since. Now, having just discovered this site…I feel I’ve come home to a warm fire and a wonderful and oh-so-important conversation about what we can do if we so choose. http://www.ervinlaszlo.com

PERSEPHONE
After the Great Fall,
it is that the warrior has danced upon the bones
of our dismembered illusions.
Isis, come now.
Re-member us with new forms, new ideas.
Life must survive.
After the Grail seeking and the Persephone tasks,
tell us what can we envision together.

hello barbara.
please excuse the seeming randomness but i simply must tell you this story! might be a little wordy... and hard to piece together...
well, today at my kindergarden workplace, i was checking redicecreations.com in my lunchbreak as i often do, where i read mr.lazlo's recent article 'the quantum computer in your head', which i had to search for a little because a few days had passed since i noticed the title. (it was the first time i had needed to look into their 'past articles' section, and i was following an urge to find that particular essay.) i had not heard of him before, but the article was much to my interest and in line with the line of thinking my wife and i enjoy discussing, and of course experiencing.
returning home, i read a mail from and old friend residing in kabul. i had recently asked him what he was up to nowadays, what his interests were. 'you should read ervin lazlo' he told me. what a surprise! i had only just discovered him earlier on that day! very much in line with the nature of the article i thought, a perfect illustration.
so i returned to the article, which i had left unfinished, and, interested in the comments, i read the first one, which was yours. now i quickly need to explain. in the mail to my friend in kabul, i had also told him that like his hospital work, my kindergarden work was of a similarly healing nature, being surrounded by very materialistically programmed children. what i did not tell him, however, was that my particular kindergarden was particularly materialistic, despite what they preach, and i was going to an interview at a new kindergarden tomorrow which was much more along my line of thinking. the local waldorf kindergarden!
(and tomorrow just happens to be my mother's birthday! the decorative cherry on the interesting quantum triangle cake!)

so i thank you for unwittingly becoming the third corner in this beautiful little experience, and i wish you all the best in your own future experiences :)

with love from iceland
